Dear Anon,
Further to what I had mentioned, please see attached example.
Do take note that it is not necessary for SOME homes to use screens.
And the attach picture should be considered a general example or broad example.
1. Purple line - manipulation of qi flow (or symbolic qi flow towards the centrepoint or the heart of the house.
2. Red - proposed location of screen. Please take note that ideally, the screen should hug or be around the same level as one side of the corridor as shown by a straight blue line.
3. Here, a half height glass panel is acceptable since, it can help to difuse light towards the main door area.
4. Since the master bedroom door is at the end of the corridor, the screen should not be seen to cut into the master bedroom door.
5. Please refer to attached examples:
5.1 File: general-placementscreen.gif
This file shows a generally acceptable position for the screen.
5.2 File: general-placementscreen1.gif
This file shows an example where the screen should not be placed. As it is symbolic of slicing into the master bedroom door.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Excellent site. The best for beginners and for more advanced "amateurs". Hopefully, I will continue learning from it, and eventually become a premium member. Keep it up and prosper.... (I am learning that myself from my slow progress in I Ching and Fengshui).
